Churilin Center

Old plants are perfect locations for creative clusters. Churilin Center at Ostrovskogo Pereulok 47 became a new project of the well-known D30 Space.

The beautiful redbrick building was built before the Revolution and housed a beer and mead brewery and a pasta and plain biscuits factory of Nikolay Churilin, a First-Guild merchant and an honorary citizen of Rostov-on-Don, hence the historical reference in the name of the new creative center.

The creative part of the facility occupies the 3rd floor and the cellar of the building. The cluster shares the building with the Project Institute of Food Technology, which is still functioning. At present, the creative space enjoys an art studio, a project company, a distance learning school, a beauty coworking space. A modern media lecture hall is to be opened in one of the rooms of the project institute. There will be a cozy and distinctive coffee shop in the public area, as befits creative spaces.

Local artists occupied the cellar of the building, they set up an open art studio. It is a place where Moy Fasad Urban Group restores old Rostov doors. Also, a room for body painting is to be opened soon.
